Winery Happenings
May Sale
On sale for the month of May is our Autumn Blush at 10% off. This doesn’t happen very often so take
advantage of it! We always have a
special sale on Memorial Day weekend to kick off the summer – I’ll send out
another email when we figure out what it’s going to be!
Events
We have two
events scheduled in May. The first is
this Saturday, May 4th where the Iron Horse Helpers are starting
their “Wino” Tour at our winery between 10 and 12. This tour benefits charity and you can sign
up or get more info at www.ironhorsehelpers.org.
The second event,
“Less Barking, More Wineing”, is the following Saturday, May 11th. This is the second year in a row we are doing
this to benefit the American Cancer Society Bark for Life. If you bring your flyer from the Bark for
Life walk that was held in Pottstown a few weeks ago (or go to the website at https://www.diamondcu.org/assets/docs/Relay%202013/Winery%20Print%20Flyer.pdf and
print one out), we will donate 10% of your wine purchases to the Cancer
Society. Also, the first 125 people that
bring in their flyers and make a purchase will get a free pawprint wine glass! This year we are excited to have the folks
from www.digandbark.com
setting up a tent and selling really adorable t-shirts and stuff. Darby is making lots of dog treats in the
shape of wine bottles and glasses and Colleen is busy making tons of doggie
wine charms. Should be a doggone good
time!
May 11th
also happens to be the first ever National Wine Tourism Day. Check out www.winetourism.org
for other wine-related events going on in the area.

Wine Update
I know I said I’d have a definite release date for the Sangria in this
newsletter, but right now it’s only a tentative release date of June 1st. I’ll let you all know for sure in a few weeks!
In the Tasting Room
In our continuing
effort to go greener, we now have recycled, reusable bags. They come in both grey and purple and
4-bottle and 6-bottle. If you buy 4
bottles of wine, you get a 4-bottle free.
If you buy 6 bottles of wine, you get a 6-bottle free. When you bring your bag back to reuse, you
get $0.50 off your purchase. Don’t tell
us that it’s too hard to remember to bring your bag back – keep it in your car
with your reusable grocery bags!
