On sale for the month of February is our 2008 Merlot at 10% off.  A glass of Merlot with dinner makes mealtime so much better!
 
Events
Our next event is the Berks County Wine Trail’s wine and chocolate weekend on February 11th and 12th, the weekend before Valentine’s Day.  We are serving a Chocolate Cheesecake drizzled with Strawberry Port Sauce and pairing it with our Cabernet Franc Port.  We made a test batch last week to eat during a bottling day and it was awesome!  Although the wine trail’s hours for this event are 12-5, we will be serving our treat during our normal hours of 10-6 on Saturday and 12-6 on Sunday.  As many of you know, this is a very crowded event, so come early before 1:00 if you want to avoid the masses.

In the Tasting Room
We made up a few Valentine’s Day baskets for your sweetheart, but remember that your sweetheart doesn’t have to be your spouse!  Moms, in particular, really like Valentine’s Day presents.  I personally would want our Merlot-lovers basket with Merlot wine and chocolate-covered cherries that were soaked in Merlot.  Yum.  Another cool one is a bottle of Port and little chocolate cups in which to serve the Port.  And for the person who makes your eyes “sparkle”, how about a very pink sparkling red raspberry basket?  So many choices.
